PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device capable of an input operation with good operationality. SOLUTION: A touch pen touching a display for input is equipped with a cable 141, and the cable 141 is connected to a casing of a photograph vending machine serving as the image input device. A structure of a connection part between the cable 141 and the casing includes a mounting member 142 formed of a resilient material such as a spring. The mounting member 142 is connected to the casing so that it is directed in the vertical direction or substantially vertical direction to the face of the casing while strength below its resilient limit is applied. If strength above the resilient limit is applied, the mounting member 142 is warped in the strength application direction according to the strength.
