Process and assembly to dry moist substances e.g. sludge, slurry, mud, grain, seaweed, wood chips, compost, dispersed or suspended substances

A drying house process evaporates moisture from e.g. slurry, grain, seaweed, wood chips (11) which rest on the floor (10). The drying house has a ventilator (12) or blower driving a turbulent air current (17) which impinges on the surface moist substance. The direction from which the air flow impinges varies constantly to agitate the moist surface. The air blower (12) agitates all parts of the moist surface are at least once during the drying cycle. The ventilators are rail-mounted and move back and forth over the floor (10). During the drying process the temperature does not exceed 80C. The transparent drying house (21) employs solar energy or is supported by solar energy. Also claimed is a commensurate translucent drying house assembly.
