A kitchen juice centrifuge has basin-shaped mixer-filter gauze surrounded by and joined to a ring at the upper rim. The base is a smaller diameter flat plate. The rim incorporates a locking profile that forms part of the filter. Crushed fruit progressively rises to the top of the basin-shaped gauze where it is subjected to higher centrifugal forces applied at the larger diameter, and then falls back to the centre when lightened by the release of juice.
