The winding shaft has a shaft body (1) of at least one fiber reinforced first material joined to at least one journal (2) of at least one second material. The journal is connected to the shaft body by the interposing of a connecting bush (3) of at least one third material, with a releasable connection being effective between the journal and connecting bush. The first material is a fiber reinforced plastic, the second material and third materials are metals. The connecting bush is inseparably connected to the shaft body.
