An apparatus for forming a thick plate is provided to make it possible to simultaneously perform an operation on a plurality of heating operation lines when forming the thick plate, support the thick plate while maintaining shape of the thick plate as it is, ensure operating stability of the apparatus by preventing the thick plate from separating, and uniformly heat the thick plate at a predetermined height correspondingly to shape variation of the thick plate according to heating. An apparatus(1) for forming a thick plate comprises: a lower frame(11) that comes in contact with the bottom of a working space; a first drive part(12) installed on the lower frame and driven in forward and backward directions; a second drive part(13) installed on the first drive part and driven in upward and downward directions; an upper frame(14) supported to the second drive part; at least one heating torch(15) which is installed on the upper frame and independently driven in horizontal and vertical directions, and which form the thick plate by simultaneously heating thick plates; a cooling water spray(16) installed on the heating torch to spray cooling water for rapidly cooling heated thick plates onto the thick plates; a thick plate supporting part installed on the lower frame to support thick plates with various shapes; and a control box(18) for controlling the first drive part, the second drive part, the heating torch, the cooling water spray, and the thick plate supporting part, wherein the thick plate supporting part includes sliding members(171) horizontally slid or rotated to support the thick plates with various shapes. |
