Tags are used in conjunction with location information to match wireless network users. In one implementation, a tag may include a term that identifies an interest of the user establishing the tag such that the tag can be used to match that user to another user or to service information. The use of such tags facilitates anonymous contact between wireless network users for enhanced security and further allows for substantially unlimited service application functionality. <IMAGE>
