<p>A sequence set for an RACH(Random Access CHannel), a method for defining the same, and a method and an apparatus for transmitting signals using the same are provided to minimize the probability of a collision, which can be generated when every UE(User Equipment) in a cell uses the same sequence, by defining a sequence set to allocate a different number of sequences according to each UE's location in the cell. A UE, which tries to access an RACH in a cell, acquires its own present location information in the cell(S1001). The UE determines a region to which it belongs in the cell(S1002). The UE acquires information about the reason why access to the RACH(S1003). Then the UE selects an associated sequence set(S1004). Then UE confirms additional information to be delivered to a node B(S1005). The UE selects a sequence having a randomly selected random ID from the sequence set and accesses the RACH through the selected sequence(S1006,S1007).</p> |
