An apparatus and a method for installing a mesh of an experimental vessel are provided to keep the mesh flat by forming an insertion unit at a settling plate and to prevent the mesh from getting out of an installation position by supporting the mesh with a support plate. An apparatus for installing a mesh(2) of an experimental vessel to a cover(1) put on at a body having an inner receiving space is composed of: a settling plate(20) on which the cover having a vent hole(1a) equipped with the mesh is put; a mesh support plate(30) placed on the cover to put the mesh on the cover placed on the settling plate and to prevent the mesh from being separated from the installation position, and provided with a through-hole(31) formed as wide as an area of the mesh; and a high-frequency welder fitted into the through-hole of the mesh support plate, to weld the mesh on the cover by pressing the mesh.
