A message service method in a mobile terminal using a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) is provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling a user, who is unskillful in manipulating a mobile terminal, to easily transmit and receive messages through a computer screen. If an originating computer, which has established a domain with an originating mobile terminal, periodically checks whether the domain is still valid(ST11). The originating computer drives a message application(ST12). The user makes out or edits a message on the message application screen of the originating computer and inputs the phone number of a receiving mobile terminal(ST13). Then, if the user pushes a send menu, the originating computer transmits the message to the originating mobile terminal through a WPAN(ST14). Receiving the message, the originating mobile terminal transmits the received message to the receiving mobile terminal through a mobile communication network(ST15).
