Method and system for generating or visualising control data sets

Method for visualizing a machine tool control program, in which a data processing unit (10) is used to read control data records from a control program. Virtual machine operating units are then represented as a machine image on a screen undertaking virtual actions based on the selected machine and control unit configurations. The links between machine and control unit and the resultant virtual actions are automatically determined and displayed. An independent claim is made for a system for visualizing a machine tool control program.
