摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of accurately teaching even in a laser beam machine using a long focus laser lens. SOLUTION: An auxiliary laser beam KLB emitted from an auxiliary laser source 35 is made incident on a condensing lens 31 parallelly in a position away from the optical axis of the main laser beam LB; therefore, it passes through the focal point FP of the main laser beam LB. An image pickup means 33 picks up the image of a work W surface through the condensing lens 31 in a position superposed on the optical axis of the main laser beam LB; therefore, the imaging target TP passes through the focal point FP of the main laser beam LB. Accordingly, a point where the auxiliary laser beam KLB coincides with the imaging target TP is the focal point FP of the main laser beam LB; as a result, the auxiliary laser beam KLB is adjusted to the imaging target TP while the image of a display means is watched, with this point matched to the machining position, and with the position coordinate of a laser matching head detected by a position detecting means and stored in a storage means.</p>
