PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winning device which makes "performance of fraudulent actions" difficult though having a simple structure, and a game machine provided with such a winning device. SOLUTION: The winning device 17 is provided with an opening/closing member 17B with a pair of movable pieces (blade piece bodies 171B and 172B) and is capable of changing the state of the opening/closing member 17B from a normal state to an open state. The winning device 17 comprises an obstruction wall (left wall part 172K or the like) disposed on the tilted route of each movable piece for obstructing the change of the opening/closing member 17B to the open state, elevating and maintaining means (solenoid 17c and transmission member 17D) capable of performing an elevating and maintaining operation of elevating and maintaining the opening/closing member 17B so that the disposed part of the obstruction wall is turned to a part on the lower end side of the tilted route of the movable piece or the like, and an operation control means for controlling the operation of the elevating and maintaining means. The operation control means controls the operation of the elevating and maintaining means so as to perform the elevating and maintaining means when an opening permission condition is established and stop the elevating and maintaining means when it is not established.
