PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation rate of a game machine and to improve a customer attracting property by coping with the operation conditions of the game machine in a game hall that change every moment. SOLUTION: The information provision system comprises: communication equipment 7 provided in each inter-stand machine 1 for transmitting information so as to be received in a prescribed communicable area S; a portable receiver 6 for receiving the information transmitted from the communication equipment 7; and a management device 4 communicable with each communication equipment 7 for managing the operation conditions of the game machines 2 constituting a game island for each game island on the basis of game execution information output from each game machine 2. The management device 4 determines whether or not to provide a player with information relating to a recommended stand 2A equipped in the game island wherein the operation rate of the game machines 2 is lower than a set value on the basis of management data, and determines the content of the information to be provided in the case of providing the information.
