PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric oven small in installation area, easy in cleaning its viewing window, capable of observing the baked condition of a food therein without causing the temperature fall in the oven body, with no risk of a relevant person's hand(s) and/or arm(s) or the like getting burnt due to its hot door in putting the food into/out of the oven, and free from the possibility of causing temperature fall concomitant with putting the food into/out of the oven. SOLUTION: The rotary electric oven includes an oven body 1 having a port via which a food is to be put thereinto/out thereof and the viewing window 11 for observing the baked condition of the food, a pair of sprocket shafts 44, two sets of sprockets 41 set up on the sprocket shafts 44, a pair of chains 42 wrapped over between the sprockets 41, at least two hung cages 32 set in between the chains 42, an electrically heating means 2, a driving motor 5, a glass door 11 composed of a stationary inner side glass plate 111 and an outer side glass plate 112 provided so as to be opened/closed, and a door 13 foldable with its inner surface as an inner side when the port is opened.
