#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a cooling enclosure i.e. water chamber of a cylinder head, with a lower stage (20) divided into two compartments, which communicate with each other via an opening (31). The opening communicates the stage (20) with an upper stage (30), where one of the compartments is placed at the periphery of a combustion chamber (24). A cooling enclosure (10) of a cylinder block i.e. cylinder crankcase, communicates with the stage (30) by an orifice (4) of a cylinder head gasket (50) and a connection. The enclosure (10) communicates with the compartment by an orifice (6) of the gasket. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for cooling a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine e.g. oil engine and spark ignition engine, with a coolant for a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cooling enclosure of the cylinder crankcase communicates with the upper stage by the orifice of the cylinder head gasket and the connection, and communicates with the compartment by another orifice, thus permitting the entire coolant to participate in cooling of specific zone of the cylinder head.
