Interferometric device for picking up optical subsurface reflexion and/or transmission characteristics of an object

Light is emitted from a source (S) to an object (O) and a reference (M) through a lens (L1) and separator (SF). The reference object (M) has stages (M0-M4) producing rays (FR0-FR4) which are recombined with light reflected from the object (O) using lenses (L2,L3,L4) and received by photosensors (PC0-PC4). The received data is processed (MA) to produce the optical characteristics of the object at varying object depths (Z0-Z4).
