A vaccine comprises a portion of IHNV G protein and a portion of a second protein from a fish pathogen or their respective nucleic acid coding sequences. The presence of the IHNV G protein boosts the immune response to the second protein, resulting in a protective effect against infection by the fish pathogen from which the second protein is derived.
