PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face photographing device capable of performing photographing under the same condition when photographing the face of the same person at different times. SOLUTION: The face photographing device comprises: a face holding means comprising a chin mounting base 2 and a forehead presser 3 for holding the face at a prescribed position; a photographing camera 4 for photographing the face held by the face holding means; a distance measuring sensor 6 for measuring a distance between the photographing camera 4 and the face; and a distance measurement data preservation part 37 for storing distance measurement data obtained by the distance measuring sensor 6; and a photographing position setting means 30a for setting the position of the photographing camera on the basis of the stored distance measurement data when photographing the same face again.
