HYBRID JOINT FOR DIVERGING OR EXTENDING METAL PIPE FROM POLYETHYLENE OR POLYPROPYLENE PIPE

PURPOSE: A hybrid joint is provided to keep airtightness by holding a diverged portion from the upper and lower portions using a metal joint even if the diverged portion is expanded thermally by forming a fixing groove on the upper and lower face of the metal joint. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid joint(100) is composed of a saddle consisting of a saddle part(110) and a diverging part(120) made from polyethylene or polypropylene used for producing a main pipe and a metal coupling(130) made of metal. The hybrid joint is formed on the outer circumference of the main pipe buried underground to combine a metal branch pipe and guide the flow of gas or fluid to the metal branch pipe.
