An adjustable chassis for transporting shipping containers of different configurations. The chassis comprises at least two spaced-apart frame members, with each fra me member including an upper surface for supporting a shipping container. At least two conversion members are pivotally coupled to the chassis by at least two translation members. The conversion members are configured to translate from a storage position between the frame members to a deployed position resting on the upper surfac e of the frame members.
