A blood pressure meter cuff (130) has a bag-like cover body for containing an air bag and a curler as a curved elastic plate. The bag-like cover body is formed by superposing an inner cover member (141) and an outer cover member (142) over each other and sewing their peripheral edges together. The inner cover member (141) is positioned on the living body side when installed, and the outer cover member (142) is positioned on the opposite side of the living body when installed. The curler contained in the bag-like cover body has a large curvature portion and a small curvature portion in the direction of winding so that the curler fits a non-measurement portion. That portion of the inner cover member (141) which corresponds to the large curvature portion of the curler is being pulled in the width direction of the air bag when the bag is not inflated. Because of the construction above, the blood pressure meter cuff is less likely to have wrinkles on the bag-like cover body.
