A system of displaying and modifying a graph representation of a data model is provided. The system comprises a display unit for displaying a window, a rendering unit for rendering a graph onto the window, an event notification unit for providing notification to the window in response to an event, and a graph information repository for storing lexical and syntactical information of the graph.
