OPERATION METHOD OF FUEL CELL SYSTEM TO PREVENT CLOGGING OF PIPE PATH DUE TO CRYSTALLIZATION OF FUEL OR DETERIORATION OF SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A method for operating a fuel cell system is provided, to allow the fuel remaining in a pipe path and the inside of a generator to be recycled into a fuel tank in case of turn-off of a generator and the fuel of a fuel tank to be supplied in case of turn-on of a generator, thereby improving the stability of system. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of pushing a run button to operate a fuel pump and an air compressor so as to allow fuel and air to be supplied into the inside of a generator for power generation; and pushing a stop button to counter-rotate the fuel pump for a certain time and to operate a recycle pump for a certain time so as to allow the fuel remaining in a pipe path, the generator and the inside of a vapor-liquid separator to be recycled into a fuel tank. Preferably the fuel recycling operation is carried out after a certain time after the stop button is pushed.
