FIELD: chemical industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of a band made out of a composite material based on fluoroplastic is dealt with the methods of production of the thin gage band out of fluoroplastic by its cutting off from a cylindrical preform. The method provides for slicing of the rotated cylindrical preform by cutting off a band using a cutting tool with a width of the band slice equal to the width of the gage band. At that they produce a band from a cylindrical perform, that height is equal to the breadth of the finished band. The slicing is conducted using a tool having a cutter and a support plate. The tool is put on the rotated cylindrical preform surface in front of its cutting edge, shifted to the center of the perform relatively to the support plate. At that the cutting tool is positioned with a capability of its movement to the center of preform under action of the going down finished band. The method is characterized by its simplicity and mobility of the used equipment with simultaneous provision of persistence of the size of the produced band in width. ^ EFFECT: simplicity and mobility of the used equipment with simultaneous provision of persistence of the size of the produced band in width. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
