PURPOSE: Provided are an ester compound which has an excellent insecticidal effect and its preparation method. CONSTITUTION: The ester compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 is H, a halogen atom, a C1-C3 alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a C2-C3 alkenyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a C1-C3 alkoxy group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, a C1-C3 alkylthio group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, or a (C1-C3 alkoxy)methyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom; n is an integer of 1-4; and X is H or a C1-C3 alkyl group. Preferably the ester compound comprises its optical isomers and geometrical isomers.
