PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a spring of a suspension is provided to prevent vibration and noise by restricting turn of the spring and fixing the end of the spring firmly, and to reduce the number of parts and assembling process by vulcanizing and bonding rubber to the spring. CONSTITUTION: A low spring seat(24) is fixed in the lower outer periphery of a shock absorber(22), and a spring(26) is placed in the low spring seat. A stepped part(24a) is formed in the low spring seat to contact the end of the spring, and a fitting hole(24b) is formed in the inclined or vertical surface of the stepped part to insert a fitting projection(26b) of the spring. Rubber(26a) is vulcanized and bonded to the lower part of the coil spring. The fitting projection is protruded in the end of the spring and inserted to the fitting hole. Noise and vibration are reduced efficiently by mounting the rubber to the spring without additional spring pads or tubes.
