PURPOSE: An electrochemical cell layered body and an electricity storage device using the layered body are provided, to improve reliance by inhibiting the scattering of electrochemical cell units. CONSTITUTION: The electrochemical cell layered body is formed by layering a plurality of electrochemical cell units(1) comprising a sheet-shaped separator, a pair of sheet-shaped (positive and negative) electrodes with interposing the separator between them where an electrolyte solution is infiltrated, a pair of current collectors with interposing the electrodes, and a gasket surrounding the outer circumference of the electrodes for packing the electrodes, wherein a sheet-shaped conductive material(8b) is located between the units of the layered body, and the sheet-shaped conductive material is located so as to allow the outer circumference of the contact face with the unit to be almost overlapped with the inner circumference of the gasket of the corresponding unit.
