TFCI TRANSMITTING METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH INFORMING A TERMINAL ABOUT TRANSPORT FORMAT COMBINATION

PURPOSE: A TFCI(Transport Format Combination Identifier) transmitting method in a mobile communication system, concerned with informing a terminal about transport format combination, is provided to minimize a TFCI code word error by mapping a TFCI1 for DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel) and a TFCI2 for a DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel) in an optimum code word pattern. CONSTITUTION: In a TFCI transmission method for a DPCH and a DSCH in a hard split mode, an optimum TFCI transmission bit pattern is formed, and bits of the DPCH TFCI and the DSCH TFCI are mapped to corresponding bit positions and then transmitted.
