PAD GUIDE OF DISC BRAKE, FOR ENDURING LOAD OF PAD BY PAD SUPPORTING UNIT OF DOUBLE-SHOCK ABSORBING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A pad guide of a disc brake is provided to improve installation interchangeableness regardless of a shape of a carrier and to sufficiently support the load of a pad within a limited space. CONSTITUTION: A pad guide of a disc brake is composed of a disc rotating together with a wheel of a vehicle; a pair of pad plates for executing a braking action by contacting to the disc and comprising a friction pad attached on one side and hanging grooves at both ends; a carrier composed of guide projections formed at both sides and inserted with the hanging grooves to support the pad plates, and fixed to a vehicle body; and a pad guide(60) disposed between the carrier and the pad plate to prevent vibration of the pad plate and to return the pad plate to an initial state in releasing brake pressure. The pad guide has supporting units(66) formed at both sides and inserted into the hanging groove of the pad plate to support the pad plate and a connection unit(65) for linking the upper ends of the supporting units. The supporting unit comprises a fixing unit(62) for fastening the pad guide to the carrier; a guide unit(61) inserted between the hanging groove of the pad plate and the guide projection of the carrier; and a pad support unit(63) for supporting the pad from the lower side.
