METHOD FOR PROTECTING WATER QUALITY OF PUMPING WELL BY CAPTURING SURFACE POLLUTANTS USING CAPTURING WELL

PURPOSE: A method for protecting the water quality of a pumping well by using a capturing well is provided to effectively prevent pollution of the underground water of deep aquifer and the water quality deterioration of a deep pumping well by capturing surface pollutants with the capturing well. CONSTITUTION: In a method for protecting the water quality of a pumping well(10) by a capturing well(20), at least one capturing well is mounted at an upper part of a pumping area of the pumping well for pumping deep underground water. The underground water containing pollutants scattered in an outer layer to flow into the pumping well is induced into the capturing well. An upper part of the pumping area is formed as a casing(12,22) to prevent the underground water containing the pollutants from directly flowing into the pumping well.
