PURPOSE: A device for lighting up a coin box for a vehicle is provided to offer convenience to a driver by mounting a lighting lamp at the coin box and switching on/off the lighting lamp according to the slide motion of the coin box. CONSTITUTION: A device for lighting up a coin box slidably installed at an insertion groove of an instrument panel is composed of a lighting lamp(146) installed at the ceiling of the coin box(140) and lighting up coins(1) in the coin box, first and second electric wires(152,154) connected to the lighting lamp and supplying electricity to the lighting lamp, and a push type on/off switch(148). The on/off switch is installed at the middle part of the first and second wires, and supplies or shuts off power supplied from a power source(150) according to the sliding motion of the coin box to switch on/off the lighting lamp.
