FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to individual compounds of benzoxazepines class that elicit fluorescent properties and can be used as the parent substances for synthesis of new heterocyclic systems and as substances used for marking and additives for light-reflecting dyes also. Invention describes 2-aroylmethylene-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,3-benzoxazine-4-ones of the formula (I): ^ ^ wherein (a) R means hydrogen atom (H); (b) CH3 eliciting fluorescent properties. Also, invention describes 2-aroylmethylene-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,3-benzoxazine-4-ones as substances used for marking, copying and recognizing using ultraviolet radiation and 2-aroylmethylene-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,3-benzoxazine-4-ones as additives for light-reflecting dye, and a method for synthesis of above indicated compounds.
