PURPOSE: A layer-type heat exchanger with an improved pass structure is provided to independently flow each refrigerant of first and second rows by separately forming an inlet port and an outlet port and to pass the air flowing between tubes through a high-temperature region only one time by crossing overheated temperature deviation parts. CONSTITUTION: A layer-type heat exchanger with an improved pass structure is composed of an upper header pipe(11) having left and right passages divided by an inner partition; a lower header pipe(12) having left and right passages divided by the inner partition; and a cooling fin for connecting the upper and lower header pipes and filling up a front tube row(13), a rear tube row(15), and between the tubes. Inlet ports(13a,15a) and outlet ports(13b,15b) for supplying refrigerants of the front and rear tube rows are installed separately. Each fluid inlet and outlet ports are installed oppositely to each other to position crossly temperature deviation parts(17) generated from the front and rear tube rows, respectively, accordingly, the fluid flows oppositely at each front and rear row in the upper and lower header pipes and flows in the same direction in the front and rear tube rows.
