PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a personal telephone office service based on voice recognition is provided so that clients can manage and apply their respective phone books and use various services related to a personal telephone office service based on voice recognition. CONSTITUTION: A system for providing a personal telephone office service based on voice recognition is comprised of a personal telephone office service providing/management server(110) and a database management server(120). The personal telephone office service providing/management server(110) comprises a client management part(111), a voice recognition engine part(112), a personal telephone office providing part(113), and a call connection part(114). The database management server(120) comprises a client DB(121), a voice DB(122), a dictionary DB(123), and a telephone office DB(124). The client management part(111) judges whether a client connected through a wired/wireless communication network(200) is a member. The voice recognition engine part(112) recognizes a voice that a client speaks for new name registration. The personal telephone office providing part(113) provides a plurality of clients their own phone books respectively. The call connection part(114), if a call connection request from a client is received for a client terminal registered in his phone book, provides a call connection with a client terminal based on a search result of the voice recognition engine part(112).
