HEADREST FOR VEHICLE, FOR CONTROLLING POSITION OF NECK SUPPORT MEMBER BY MOVING FORWARD AND BACKWARD GUIDE BAR

PURPOSE: A headrest for a vehicle is provided to secure a convenient driving condition by easily adjusting a neck support mounted at the headrest according to personal body conditions of drivers. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle having seats, a headrest for the vehicle is composed of a body unit mounted at an upper part of the seat to support heads of passengers and formed with a guide groove therein; a guide bar(7) for moving along the guide groove of the body unit and having a rack gear(8) at the side; a neck support member(5) installed at one end of the guide bar; a driving member(20) connected with a pinion gear(23) corresponding to the rack gear arranged at the side of the guide bar to move the neck support member; and a switch member installed at the side of the seat to apply an operation signal to the driving member.
