Device for separating and removing deposited material from a flowing liquid, e.g. waste water, comprises two continually revolving chains (7) that dip into the liquid. The chain elements (15) are interconnected by hinges (16). Sieving elements (8) arranged between the chains are fixed to the chain elements. Adjacent sieving elements overlap in the direction of movement of the chain in the region of the hinges. Preferred Features: The adjacent sieving elements overlap without contact. The sieving elements have perforated sieving surfaces. |
