摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method and a display device realizing merits such as shortening of the data write time and reduction of drivers by easily making blue spatial frequency components lower than red and green spatial frequency components. SOLUTION: In red and green subfields, scanning pulses are applied to every line through a scanning line 11 (thin solid line in Fig.(a)) and a voltage corresponding to red and green pixel data is applied to the data line 12 of a TFT (thin film transitor) matchingly with the timing. In a blue subfield, the scanning pulses are simultaneously applied to two adjacent lines through the scanning line 11 (thick solid line in Fig.(a)) and the voltage corresponding to the average value of the blue pixel data of the two lines is applied to the data line 12 of the TFT matchingly with the timing.
