PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of vibrations at the time of braking by vertically raising a flat plate to increase air resistance. SOLUTION: An opening portion 41 is provided on an upper surface of a vehicle 40, and a cylinder 44 and an expanding/contracting rod 45 are equipped. A rod 45 tip end is coupled to a pin 46 by a coupling portion 43, and a flat plate brake 1 is rotated about a pin 48. The flat plate brake 1 is set to be vertical when the bake is actuated. Tje flat plate brake 1 is provided with a cutout opening portion 2, and height L<SB>2</SB>is made to be a quarter of L<SB>1</SB>of the flat plate brake 1. Air flow goes out/comes in through the opening portion 2 when the brake is actuated, so that the pressure of the flat plate brake 1 is decreased. Karman's voltex generated in a back side from right and left both sides is decreased, and right and left vibrations is decreased to reduce vibrations of the vehicle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
