PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment method for precisely aligning a plurality of nozzle heads. SOLUTION: This alignment method is used when the plurality of nozzle heads 47 each having a plurality of nozzles 47a for ejecting ink are arranged to be fixed to a holder frame 46. A transparent plate 50 having alignment marks 50a formed thereon is prepared, the plate 50 and the nozzle heads 47 are opposed with each other in a condition that the position relationship between the plate 50 and the holder frame 46 is fixed, and then the aligning of the nozzle heads 47 is carried out by referencing the alignment marks 50a on the plate 50.
