The main plate (1) and the auxiliary plate to be used for fixing a fractured bone are joined to each other with an additional screw apart from the bone screw also guided through both elements. Ideally the bone screw and the additional screw are of the same dimensions, facilitating the insertion into any of the bores (3, 8) provided. Each bore (8) has a threaded inner surface at its lower end and a plane area at the top, matching the shape of the fixing elements. Slots (13) facilitate the longitudinal adjustment of the set.
