Hearing aid (20) housing (10) contains sound processor (24) receiving and treating sound waves for user's ear housing contains fastener (30) on user's outer ear lobe for housing containing processor and microphone (22).Fastener and housing are so formed that housing, at viewing user's ear lobe front side, is at least partly visible at lobe edge region, or lobule. Preferably fastener is of clamp or plug type, or wire bow. On housing side, away from user's body, is fitted port for microphone access. INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for hearing aid with invented housing.
