The adaptor (2) for a mounting for the fastening of ventilated facade elements comprises two legs (4) interconnected by a base (16) and each provided with a cut-outs (5) in which a bolt engages on both sides. Fastening means extend away from the base in the direction of the facade element to be fastened and upon which are fastened a substructure profile. The adaptor is a U-section which forms the two legs and the base. The cut-outs in the legs of the adaptor are formed at an angle so that the bolts of the mounting fitted in the respective cut-outs are retained in the horizontal direction. An independent claim is included for a system for the fastening of facade elements including the aforesaid adaptor.
