<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-generator for a vehicle which can sharply improve the torque property of a rotary electric machine by suppressing a voltage drop in AC wiring and can avoid a sharp weight increase and cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter unit 4 is equipped with a case 46 which houses a circuit board whereon a switching element, a diode, and a capacitor are mounted, and a heat sink 47 which is constituted integrally with the case 46. Then, the inverter unit 4 is attached to the top of a rotary electric machine 2 with the case 46 attached to a mounting plate 15 attached to a boss 26. Furthermore, the inverter unit 4 is electrically connected with a three-phase output terminal 27 which extends out from a rear bracket 19 via AC wiring 9, and it is electrically connected with a battery via DC wiring 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
