<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an Internet connection terminal to which a private IP address is assigned, to perform communication in the same manner as terminals to which global IP addresses are assigned. <P>SOLUTION: The internet connection terminal is provided with; an electronic mail reception means for receiving electronic mail; a global IP extraction means for extracting the global IP address of a transmission source from route information in the header part of the received electronic mail; an electronic mail transmission means for transmitting electronic mail; and a global IP address acquisition means which transmits the electronic mail addressed to the terminal itself by the electronic mail transmission means, receives the electronic mail by the electronic mail reception means, and stores a global IP address extracted by the global IP address extraction means, as the global IP address of the terminal itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
