PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which the opening degree of a valve element in a rotary valve can be easily and securely recognized from far. SOLUTION: A display device is composed of a display part rotatable with a valve shaft of a rotary valve, and a cover fixed to the rotary valve to cover the display part. The surface of the display part is parted to a plurality of zones parted in a rotating direction, and different colors are provided to adjoining zones of them. The cover is also parted to a plurality of zones parted in the rotating direction, and at least one zone of them is composed transparent.
