PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an outside line transmission route of a transfer source terminal in call incoming from a transmitting terminal of another private branch exchange to the transfer source terminal in which outside line incoming call transfer of a present private branch exchange is set, in a system wherein a plurality of private branch exchanges are connected by networking. SOLUTION: When a call is incoming from a transmitting terminal 42 to a transfer source terminal 12, a private branch exchange 10 wherein the transfer source terminal 12 is accommodated, transmits a transfer instruction signal containing transfer information with which a private branch exchange 20 accommodating an outside line (public network 22) of a transfer destination can be specified, to a private branch exchange 40 accommodating the transmitting terminal 42. The transfer instruction signal is passed except for the private branch exchange 40 wherein the transmitting terminal 42 is accommodated. When the transfer instruction signal is received, the private branch exchange 40 that accommodates the transmitting terminal 42, specifies the private branch exchange 20 wherein the outside line of the transfer destination is accommodated, by analyzing the transfer information, and transmits a transfer transmitting signal.
