PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductive compression forming conductor superior in the flexibility of the conductor and current density Je. SOLUTION: After a powder of Bi<SB>2</SB>Sr<SB>2</SB>CaCu<SB>2</SB>O<SB>8</SB>is filled into a pure silver matrix and a shrinking process is applied, many pieces of these are bundled and engaged with a silver alloy pipe, and furthermore, a plurality of pieces of superconductive wire rods shrinking processed are stranded around a tape material woven from a continuous glass fiber of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(80%)-SiO<SB>2</SB>(20%), and compression formed. Then, they are calcined for 120 hours at a maximum temperature of 850°C in oxygen atmosphere, thereby fusion between the wire rods after calcination is prevented and AC loss is reduced, and current density Je is increased, thereby the oxide superconductive compression forming conductor superior in flexibility of the conductor is obtained.
