PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce non-uniform degree in a final drying in a drum washing and drying machine. SOLUTION: A drum washing and drying machine 1 includes an air blower 21 which supplies hot air making contact with laundry, a drying heater 19 for heating gases which are supplied from the air blower 21, a water temperature sensor 18 and an exhaustion sensor 27 for specifying a temperature of the hot air made contact with the laundry, and a control circuit 14 which is a timer for measuring time, for determining the length of a second term required for settling the extent of drying of the laundry within a predetermined range in accordance with the length of a first term required for making fluctuation width of the drying extent of the laundry, that is specified on the base of either the temperature and humidity of the hot air, lower than a predetermined range, and for controlling the drying heater 19 during the first term and the second term.
