When directly inputting data through a keyboard and numeric buttons, it is possible to preferably guide the user's eyeshot toward the keyboard and the numeric buttons. In order to achieve this object, a data input device (10) includes: first operation means (1) for directly inputting at least one of the numeric data and character data; second operation means (2) for performing operation other than the direct input of the numeric data and character data; and guiding means (5) for guiding the user's eyeshot toward the first operation means with blinking operation when starting data input via the first operation means. When starting data input via the first operation means (1), the guiding means (5) makes a guiding mark (3c) blink so as to indicate the shape of the first operation means (1) and the direction of the location of the first operation means (1).
