PURPOSE: A method of constructing poor ground reinforcements using lightweight concrete is provided to increase the structural stability of poor ground by distributing loads and increasing shearing strength through concrete panels. CONSTITUTION: The process of constructing poor ground reinforcements using lightweight concrete is composed of: leveling the ground; laying numbers of square concrete panels(10) on poor ground; heaping up earth on the concrete panel up to a designated height. The concrete panel has numbers of through holes(11) formed at regular distances necessary to drain water, connecting grooves(13) and connecting projections(12) necessary to be joined other panels. The concrete panel comes in various sizes and the height of layered concrete blocks varies according to field situation.
